After an appeal was made by Shekhar Gaikwad, Commissioner, PMC, for the same, the association helped set up the advanced ICU in a record time of only 8 days for which it allocated the fund Rs 1 Crore.

At that time, we promised to set up a unit at the hospital in the next 15 days.

But nonetheless, our office bearers worked tirelessly day and night to set up the ICU in a record time of just 8 days. We assure the Municipal Corporation that our association will provide all sorts of help in this time of crisis. ”

Shekhar Gaikwad, Commissioner, PMC said, “Dalvi Hospital in Shivajinagar was the only hospital in the area for pregnant women who are due to give birth but now Covid 19 patients around will be relieved as an updated intensive care unit has been set up at the hospital.

This ICU was created in record time and will be noted in the history of the corporation. I thank CREDAI Pune Metro for the initiative as this municipal hospital will now provide a shelter to poor patients.”
