Tata Sons announces an additional Rs. 1000 Crores aid

To support these efforts, Tata Sons announced today that they are going to donate 1000 crore rupees for the prevention of coronavirus in India.

Tata Trust's chairman Mr. Ratan Tata has already given Rs. 500 Cr. for the prevention of Coronavirus. Tata Sons have also come forward in view of the charity of the Tata Trust. Tata Sons announces Rs. 1000 Crores support to face the coronavirus pandemic and related activities.

The Tata Sons will work together with the Tata Trusts and Chairman Emeritus Mr. Ratan Tata. Tata Sons would be fully supporting initiatives taken by Mr. Ratan Tata, and work in a collaborative manner to bring the full expertise of the group, N. Chandrasekaran, Chairman, of Tata Sons said in a media statement issued on Saturday.

Chairman said in this press release, In addition to the initiatives articulated by Tata Trusts, Tata Sons also bringing in the ventilators necessary and are gearing up to also manufacture the same soon in India.
